What's On Tap in Ballard

Citra IPA

ABV: 5.90% IBU: 50.00 SRM: 3.00
We like to call this one Sunshine In a Glass ... or Sunshine In Your Belly because it won't stay in that glass long. Our Citra® IPA is designed to be light and bright in both color and body. Your first sniff will elicit images of tropical fruit and citrus thanks to a healthy dose of Citra® hops. Enjoy a pint of this and you might just find yourself gazing skyward, pondering how in the heck sunshine made its way into your glass.

Mosaic Pale Ale

ABV: 5.30% IBU: 39.00 SRM: 5.00
A highly drinkable, hop forward beer with a classic American Pale Ale malt bill. Heavy handed Mosaic dry hopping gives this beer a nose packed full of citrus and mango. Up front aroma, balanced bittering and a moderate body just beg for another taste...and another...and another...

German Style Pilsner

ABV: 5.20% IBU: 37.00 SRM: 3.00
Imported German 2-row barley and Roy Farms ADHA 1940 hops give this German-style pils it's crisp, clean character.  Warning: this beer's subtle grain sweetness, spicy hop aroma and refreshingly dry, hop-forward finish may elicit a spontaneous Prost!

NW Red

ABV: 5.00% IBU: 40.00 SRM: 12.00
Our Northwest Red Ale provides a distinctly Northwest hop character balanced with a restrained malt sweetness. We use 2 Row barley along with Best Maltz Red X to create a rich, red color and a smooth, satisfying taste. A hint of chocolate seals the deal.

CATEGORIES: Northwest

Robust Porter

ABV: 6.20% IBU: 45.00 SRM: 31.00
Rich in color and character, our robust porter conjures up memories of decadent chocolate treats dipped in coffee. Hints of dark chocolate, roasted coffee and light malty sweetness are the result of a complex malt profile including chocolate malt, roasted wheat and roasted rye.

Easy A IPA

ABV: 6.40% IBU: 56.00 SRM: 4.00
We didn't even study for this one, Galaxy and Simcoe hops make this one an Easy A. The aroma and flavor is chock-full of Guava, citrus & a bit of pine. The fruit carries to the finish begging another taste.

CATEGORIES: IPA, Northwest

Cervecita Mexican Lager

ABV: 4.80% IBU: 14.00 SRM: 2.00
Our Mexican Lager is perfect for sunny days on the patio or the beach...preferably in flip flops. Since we can't guarantee sunny days in Seattle, we kept this lager light and bright and irresistibly crushable, sunshine not required. Salud! AWARDS: 2019 Judges Pick-SIP NW Best of the Northwest

Pistol Fingers IPA

ABV: 6.90% IBU: 75.00 SRM: 6.00
We love Mosaic Hops. We went all in and brewed a beer that uses three versions of them: 1) Traditional T90 hop pellets,  2) Cryo pellets, and 3) Pure resin CO2 extract. The result? A beer that screams signature Mosaic aromas with flavors of mango and citrus from start to finish!

Stoup Mothership IPA

ABV: 6.50% IBU: 57.00 SRM: 3.00
Stoup Mothership IPA  is a tribute to our little engine that could, Stoup Brewing Ballard. Driven by a desire to create delicious beer and powered by all the best people, this little brewery has produced the beer, served the beer and delivered the beer all by itself. Soon, Stoup Brewing Ballard will be joined by Stoup Brewing Kenmore! Ballard will continue to produce the best beer possible, but now there will be two locations to enjoy a Stoup pint with friends. Riwaka, Mosaic Cry and Loral Cryo with their grapefruit, tropical fruit and floral aromas are the perfect hello to our newest fleet member. Cheers to Stoup Brewing Ballard, and welcome, Stoup Brewing Kenmore!

ONE

ABV: 6.80% IBU: 17.00 SRM: 4.00
The first beer to come out of our beautiful new foeder was brewed with locally grown barley, wheat and spelt malts, fermented with one of our favorite Belgian yeast strains and conditioned on Brett. We blended with a touch of our tart rustic farmhouse beer for a balanced acidity.

CATEGORIES: Barrel Aged, Belgian, Sour

Mixtape Romeo

ABV: 5.00% IBU: 32.00 SRM: 3.00
In the entire history of humankind, there has never been a more profound expression of love than the personalized mixtape. Hours of deliberation about which songs to share from your home tape collection followed by hours of tiny handwritten playlists with tiny hearts incorporated wherever possible. Follow that with "play"-"record", change tape, "play"-"record" change tape............This beer is our mixtape for you. First we brewed the beer with pilsner malt for a light body and gentle malt sweetness. Then we lagered the beer for several weeks to create a clean, refreshing crispness. As our mixtape final song, we dry hopped with Nelson Sauvin and Riwaka for aromas of white grape and grapefruit. Load it up, press play and enjoy.

Vic Secret IPA

ABV: 7.40% IBU: 65.00 SRM: 6.00
This IPA has large whirlpool additions of Mosaic and is dry hopped with Australian hop variety Vic Secret. This IPA packs a wallop of passionfruit and pineapple aromas and flavors.

CATEGORIES: IPA, Northwest

Saison

ABV: 6.80% IBU: 26.00 SRM: 5.00
We start with a grain bill of Northwest-grown Lyon Pilsner Malt from LINC Malt and German Pilsner malt then fermented with two of our favorite Belgian yeast strains. The result is a crisp, dry beer with aromas of fruity esters a touch of pepper.

(You Should) Smile More IPA

ABV: 5.30% IBU: 53.00 SRM: 36.00
On March 8th, the women of the #BallardBrewed Coalition collaborated on this West Coast Spring IPA. A portion of all sales of this beer will benefit the Pink Boots Society, which supports the education of women beer professionals.
This year's (You Should) Smile More IPA was brewed with spring in mind. It has a  moderate ABV, but is big on aroma and flavor. We used the Pink Boots Blend from YCH Hops (Cashmere, Ahtanum, Citra, Loral and Sabro) in the whirlpool then dry hopped with Mosaic Cryo and Galaxy.

Tomorrow's Sunrise IPA

ABV: 6.10% IBU: 58.00 SRM: 3.00
Fresh hop season is still months away here in Washington, but hop growers in the southern hemisphere are right in the thick of it. To celebrate, we teamed up with our #sistercity  friends in Christchurch, Beer Baroness Brewery, for a unique collaboration. While they brewed an IPA with freshly harvested NZ Rakau hops we brewed an IPA here in Seattle also using Rakau and some other rad NZ varieties, Rawaka, Nelson and Nectaron. We hope that this delicious IPA with big aromas of stone fruit,  pineapple, white grape and citrus brings some hope that Tomorrow's Sunrise will be more peaceful, equitable and kind.

Global Superstar IPA

ABV: 6.50% IBU: 52.00 SRM: 4.00
This beer rocks hops from three world class growing regions around the globe. German Mandarina Bavaria and Huell Melon contribute aromas of tangerine and ripe melon. Moteuka from New Zealand adds aromas of fresh crushed Citrus. Lastly, Mosaic from the Yakima Valley of  Washington brings the mango and blueberry. All 3 of these hops have come together in perfect harmony, destined to be the next global superstar.
